I was tasked with creating the working drawings for the ‘People’s Choice Award’ table for the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition held at the Natural History Museum while working for MxL based in Hertford. I designed the nonagonal table (that’s nine sides in case you’re wondering), which was to be manufactured to match the rest of the exhibition with an exposed tulipwood framework. This was challenging to draw and even more challenging to make with many odd angles and coordination between solid wood and metalwork used to house audio visual equipment.
