This heart shaped display for Elephant ATTA’s 60 year anniversary was designed to be easy to put together with no experience or tools and to be moved between different locations.
The heart shapes were created using the CNC machine, designed to slot into the plinth base, with straps providing strength between the 3 sections. With each heart made in two halves with a connecting cleat at the centre, due to the size of the display.
The branding was displayed using vinyl and foamex. All fixings used bolts, tee nuts and threaded sleeves so that a drill was not required in assembly. As part of this project I produced a simple assembly guide to help the installers on site and detailed construction drawings for the workshop. This fun project turned out well despite some concern that the 18mm MDF would be too flexible at the top.
